Impact Calculator To LIVE United means being a part of the impact. How does your donation to Greater Mankato Area United Way positively impact this community? $ 10 a week (Heart Club gift) provides: 75 local children with a book, parenting tips and local resource information sent to their home.
$ 10 a week (Heart Club gift) provides: 1 ½ months of emergency shelter for an individual in crisis.
$10 a week (Heart Club gift) provides: 163 children with a hot and nutritious meal all summer.
$ 7 a week provides: 3 individuals or families in the midst of financial crisis with a free session with a certified credit counselor, where they will complete a budget and create an action plan.
$7 a week provides: 4 people with preventive dental care including cleaning, x-rays and education.
$7 a week provides: 200 middle school students with First Aid certification.
$5 a week provides: 40 students the opportunity to learn how to recognize the signs & symptoms of depression and suicide and how to help a friend or peer when they verbalize or show the signs.
$ 5 a week provides: 4 months of round trip rides to and from work for an individual with a disability.
$ 5 a week provides: 6 kids the opportunity to participate in 3 months of martial arts classes.
$3 a week provides: 1 elderly homeowner with snow removal all winter, allowing them to remain living independent.
$3 a week provides: 175 hours of child care while parent earns credits toward their High School Diploma.
$3 a week provides: 1 year of blood pressure clinics which serve over 480 individuals.
