    Emergency /Social Services Provides services and referrals to individuals and families in crisis who have emergency material needs such as medication prescription co-pay, energy assistance, and gas vouchers. 

    ·         The Salvation Army saw an 18% overall increase in the use of their services in 2009

    ·         In 2009, the Salvation Army conducted 2, 415 phone interviews and referred 2, 036 individuals to agencies where they could receive services

    Mobile Outreach Meals Program MOMS is a summer feeding program that travels to low-income neighborhoods, providing nutritious meals for children 0-18 years of age who ordinarily receive free/reduced meals during the school year.

    ·         80% of individuals receiving meals through MOMS were between the ages of 6-12

    ·         MOMS will be expanding its services this year to provide meals to parents of children 0-18 years

    Noon Feeding Program Provides free, nutritious meals five days a week all year long to individuals and families in the community.

    ·         The Noon Feeding Program provides a free, well-balanced meal five days a week

    ·         Saw a 6.6% increase in the number of meals in 2009
